Now that we have got the For collated for the last two rides, we have decided to tally up the scores over these two rides and also the forthcoming, Nairn Beach,Poolton and Burgie rides and award a small trophy and rosettes at the end of the winter. This may give you a bit of an incentive to get out there in the worst of the weather and keep your horses fit! At the same time as adding an element of competition to our pleasure rides, the formula also requires riders to look after their horses at the end of the ride to ensure their best result. This in turn means better management and welfare of the horses. Taking part in the the French Formula is, however, optional.
