General Description: Good Forestry tracks and paths; both hard and soft conditions under hoof. Great views to the north over the Cromarty Firth and to the south over the Moray Firth.

Venue - directions and location:

From the south, come over the Kessock Bridge and continue 4 miles to Tore roundabout. Take the 4th exit sign Fortrose. Continue on the A832 for 9 miles through Avoch, Fortrose and to Rosemarkie. Continue through Rosemarkie over bridge and up hill (Fairie Glen) for 1.5 miles and turn Left just after smithy sign Balblair. Continue on B9163 for 1 mile to venue on Left.(There is a shorter route - left after Charlie's garage and then right to Killen - but be warned it is single track.)

From the North, come over the Cromarty Firth causeway on the A9 and take first left onto the B9163. Continue for 2 miles and left still on the B9163. Continue for 6 miles and follow road round to right and over bridge by smithy. Continue up hill for 3 miles still on B9163 to venue on Right.

Facilities/ arrangements:

No crewing in the forest - but possible to crew at all road crossings as area / room at almost all of them.
